If Not That One, Then This One

"If Not That One, Then This One" (Azerbaijani: O olmasın, bu olsun / او اولماسین بو اولسون), also known as "Meshadi Ibad"  is a musical comedy by Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov written in 1910 and performed for the first time in Baku in 1911. This is Hajibeyov's second comedy.

The story is about a rich but old trader, Meshadi Ibad, who wants to marry Gulnaz — the daughter of a poor bey who needs money.
